As a digital marketing manager your role is to generate new customers, as well as impact the performance and retention of the existing client portfolio. You will do this by leveraging your skills in content creation, email marketing and strategic partnerships.
You will be leading the lead-generation efforts by using a range of inbound and paid advertising tools as well as strategic partnerships. You know your way around effective inbound marketing tools and strategies. You know how to create catchy content and how to leverage social media to get the message out. You are not afraid to get stuck in with the tools and can evaluate and recommend systems and software. You understand the power of strategic partnerships and know how to craft win-win propositions with complementing partners.
You will also know how to run PPC campaigns. You don’t have to be an expert, but you should have a good working knowledge of the major platforms. You are data-driven, and you know how to build funnels, run campaigns, and measure results.
You have some experience in all the above activities, ideally have been working in a digital marketing role in a tech company, an ecommerce business or a digital marketing agency. You are passionate about the ever-evolving world of digital marketing, with a curious mind and a get-stuff-done attitude.
- Marketing tech savvy – you can build landing pages, set up funnels, analyse data and find your way around CRMs and ESPs.
- Experience in using email marketing tools, such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp
