More about them:
Liz Gadd has been working in recruitment for 31 years, and has studied recruitment through a degree and a diploma in recruitment practice. She has also taken literally hundreds of other courses and development programmes related to recruitment practice and strategy.
To put the last three decades into context, when Liz started recruiting in 1992 there were 10 candidates for every job. In 2022 there are 10 jobs for every candidate and more if you count 100% remote working opportunities. Liz said:
“For most of my recruitment career, I have been at times astounded at poor recruitment practices by employers! I’ve been critical of behaviours and attitudes. I’ve been bothered by the things some people have said during a recruitment interview. All parts of the process have been challenging at times due to inappropriate or discriminatory processes, in particular unconscious bias.”
Celia Gadd has been coaching and mentoring for many years, having started as one of the youngest people in the country to pass all her British Horse Society teaching qualifications.
Celia started her journey as an entrepreneur after leaving school at 16, and set up a large equestrian riding school and livery yard which was soon fully booked. She went on to run one of the largest competition centres in the South West, being responsible for all of their events, PR and marketing.
In April 2021, Celia launched Passion to Pocket, a business in which she helps entrepreneurs navigate their way through the struggles of running their own business. She covers mindset, goal setting, social media, marketing, money mindset. As well as how to increase productivity through a series of live training and courses.
Liz and her are working together on the courses within Gadd and Gadd, with particular emphasis over the coming months on promoting the brilliant Recruitment Bootcamp which launches in January 2023.
