Communications Executive – Equestrian Sport, Midlands
Based at the office near Coventry/Solihull, with the option of hybrid working available, the Communications Officer will work closely with the Communications & Content Lead to ensure timely delivery of a busy written communications schedule, primarily for the website and social media channels, to support competition and training activity.
The main priority for this role is to support the Communications & Content Lead in producing effective communications across the organisation’s activities. This includes copywriting, proofreading, providing social media support, and creating content for all digital platforms.
The successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and high standards of grammar. They should also be IT literate with experience creating effective and creative content for digital channels and know how to communicate effectively with different stakeholder groups.
Demonstrable prior hands-on experience in a similar marketing or communications role is, therefore, a prerequisite.
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills who is equally adept at working independently and as a team player. A genuine interest in equestrianism and some knowledge are essential.
Due to the nature of the sport, a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and evenings, will be required. You must also have a clean driving license and be prepared to travel as necessary

Moxie and Mettle is a UK-based recruitment company; our clients are based in the UK too. Although many clients offer remote working as an option, there is still a need to regularly visit company offices and clients in the UK. Therefore, applications from overseas are unlikely to be successful, unless applicants already have plans to be in the UK several times a month/year to facilitate meetings with both the teams and clients.
