Digital Marketing Executive – remote – Bristol
We are looking for a data-savvy and results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to support the strategic commercial marketing managers for this very well established and growing b2b publishing business
This role will focus on becoming an expert in automating conversion email marketing, driving lead generation, nurturing sales funnels, understanding our ideal customers, and engaging with our target audiences through effective digital campaigns.
There will be a mix of delegate acquisition, audience development, account-based marketing and sophisticated data work as we translate a large digital audience into focused groups of customers
It is a commercial revenue-generating role with a commission scheme to reflect its impact on the company’s success. This is a very result driven role and will suit an ambitious self-starter who thrives under pressure. The role will report directly to the commercial marketing managers and ultimately to the chief strategy officer.
About You

Someone who is a data geek at heart and literally gets excited about best practice form design, email automation and conversion copy.
Technical ability should be taken as standard, you’ll have the secret sauce that turns an executive into a manager and beyond in a short space of time.

This is not a role for people who want to do fluffy marketing! You will be more comfortable with technology than brand and will be genuinely excited by data and analysis and using this as the building blocks for creativity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Demonstrable expertise in conversion copywriting
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms and experience of testing and adapting campaigns based on results (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor)
- Experience of building engaged responsive communities in LinkedIn and Facebook
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with performance-based targets and KPIs
- Mixture of data skills and evidence of having worked successfully and enthusiastically in a results-driven environment
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on email marketing
- A data geek with a results focused mindset.
- Evidence of success in a commercial marketing environment – comfortable being judged in results and hitting tight deadlines
- Degree level preferred but not necessary if the candidate came demonstrate tangible success in the areas listed
- Proven track record of successful email marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Evidence of delivering commercial results through marketing
- Ideally experience of exhibition delegate marketing, renewal campaigns and database marketing
Salary and Benefits
£28k plus quarterly bonus and great benefits
