Marketing Technology Data Analyst – remote-Bristol

We are seeking a strategic and commercially focused Marketing Technology Analyst / Commercial Data Analyst with a strong data science background to lead the marketing technology initiatives and drive revenue growth through data optimisation.
This role will be critical in managing the marketing technology stack, analysing customer data, and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that maximise customer engagement and business performance.
You will play a key role in aligning technology, marketing strategies, and business goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key requirements (the first three are essential, as is the knowledge of data science tools and platforms)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in data science, statistics, marketing, computer science, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of experience in a data-driven marketing or commercial role
- Previous experience as a Data Scientist/Data Lead/similar role is essential, with a strong background in predictive analytics, data modelling, and customer segmentation
- Strong experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and marketing automation tools
- Proven experience managing marketing technology stacks, including CDP, CRM, and marketing automation tools
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and visualisation platforms like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and their application in media publishing and events
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing strategies that drive revenue and enhance customer experiences
- Commercially minded, with a proven track record of using data to impact bottom-line results
- Expertise in predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and data modelling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
