Deliver on the company’s strategic marketing vision!

This successful and interesting business is a leading name in the waste and recycling sector, and is now looking for a professional and hardworking individual to join the team as Marketing Manager to deliver on the company’s strategic marketing vision.

You must be self-motivated and willing to travel for customer and supplier visits.

You will need to proactively implant, manage and track marketing campaigns to achieve the marketing strategy while working to the company’s budget. 

More details of the day to day

Marketing

• Researching and analysing market trends and competitors.
• Overseeing marketing campaigns.
• Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team.
• Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies/suppliers
• Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
• Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
• Organising and overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, including speaker opportunities.

PR and Communications

• Running a press office service
• Writing – forward features, editorial, thought leadership articles, press releases, advertorials
• Creating and distributing a quarterly newsletter for customers
• Internal communications
• Writing and delivering content and social media plans.

Digital Marketing

• Planning – you will design and deliver digital marketing plans across paid and organic social and search.
• Campaign Management – you will take ownership of the campaign calendar, across all channels but with a focus on Email, PPC, SEO.

A senior marketing role, offering flexible hours and working patterns.  What’s most important is solid experience in the areas outlined above.
