Are you an experienced PR professional looking for an exciting new challenge in built environment?
PR Account Manager (or Junior Account Manager) opportunity with a dynamic team to help them deliver outstanding service to their portfolio of built environment clients.
Alternatively, you can also join at Junior Account Manager level, working your way up to PR Account Manager.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality content across a range of different channels and for different audiences. From press releases to adverts and social media posts, you will be a master of the written word. And a skilled communicator who can convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, you can mainly work remotely but will need to be able to meet clients regularly who may be anywhere in the region of Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Oxford. So, the ability and willingness to travel to offices is essential.
You’ll meet with you Bristol colleagues as often as you like, but would be a minimum of once a week. UNLESS you live further afield from Bristol (so Swindon/London/Oxford etc) then 1-2 x per month.
What will you do?
In addition to content creation, you will also provide day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients' PR accounts. This will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring that deadlines are met. You will be the go-to person for your clients, providing strategic counsel and helping them to achieve their PR and wider marketing goals.
As well as managing existing accounts, you will also be involved in new business development. This will involve researching and identifying opportunities to pitch for new work, contributing to fee proposals, and promoting your own profile within the company and the wider PR sector.
What do you need?
You’ll need to have proven PR experience, ideally from an agency with a focus on sectors such as the built environment, property, infrastructure, construction, energy or similar, definitely with a B2B focus as opposed to consumer. Client-side experience from these sectors will also be considered.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a confident and experienced communicator with excellent relationship-building skills. You will be comfortable dealing with the media and building good relationships with journalists and other members of the press.
In return for your hard work and dedication, the agency offers a competitive salary, flexible working, and opportunities for career development. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

Moxie and Mettle is a UK-based recruitment company; our clients are based in the UK too. Although many clients offer remote working as an option, there is still a need to regularly visit company offices and clients in the UK. Therefore, applications from overseas are unlikely to be successful, unless applicants already have plans to be in the UK several times a month/year to facilitate meetings with both the teams and clients.
