Exciting new role for a PR Senior Account Manager to join the healthcare team at a global communications consultancy.
The role:
The PR Senior Account Manager is the primary client contact on one or more small to medium sized accounts and/or a key member of client services on larger accounts. You will also act as an advisor or ’sounding-board’ for other members of the team.
There will be significant involvement in developing new business and helping Account Director’s to extend the scope of existing accounts.
The company specialise in communicating tech innovation and change.
They are a full-service communications consultancy working with leading businesses and industry associations in healthcare, technology, and life sciences.
Responsibilities:
- Encouraging and motivating team members
- Managing achievement objectives and timeline budgets
- Developing accurate fee and expense budgets for new business projects
- Actively seeking out new business prospects and converts into pitch opportunities
- Maintaining accurate financial tracking and analysis on designated projects and maintain profitability on all client business.
- Developing new ideas and strategies for existing clients and identifying opportunities to demonstrate new initiatives on behalf of clients
About you:
- Previous PR experience in healthcare – from either agency or clientside
- The ability to understand issues affecting clients’ sectors
- Knowledge of relevant industry sectors (see above) and proactively consulting with clients about them
- Exhibits a full understanding of client business, influencing factors, budgeting constraints and PR needs and ensuring deliverables are met for clients
- Knows how to construct a new business proposal and develop new business.
- Knows how to conduct brainstorming sessions and encourage other consultants to think creatively.
