During the past month, Moxie and Mettle has welcomed two social media assistants, and we’ve also had a well-deserved new promotion within the team.

So, let’s firstly meet Valensiya Slavchova, Social Media and PR Assistant
We are delighted to welcome Valensiya to the newly created position of Social Media and PR Assistant. She is responsible for managing Moxie and Mettle’s social media channels, producing creative copy, from job ads to blog posts and press releases, and liaising with clients and candidates regarding new opportunities.
Valensiya is a recent (2022) graduate, having received a First-Class award in Journalism and PR (Huge congrats V). Before joining the team, she completed a successful public relations internship in a creative communications agency.
Valensiya’s comments so far: “I am grateful for this amazing opportunity. Not only will it help me grow professionally, but it will also allow me to learn more about the creative recruitment industry and build long-lasting connections”.

Next is Josie Hancock, Social Media and Marketing Assistant
We are equally delighted to welcome Josie into the team in the role of Social Media and Marketing Assistant. Previously, Josie was the Social Media Assistant at Jacobs Clothing, where she developed the social media content, handled inquiries, and assisted in all things creative! She brings extensive marketing experience and is responsible for creating and optimising creative content and letting candidates know about challenging and varied roles, using the latest social media and marketing trends.
In her spare time, Josie is a charity-shop enthusiast, a proud plant owner (the number is in the fifties!), and loves interior design and décor!
Josie explained: “I am delighted to be joining Moxie and Mettle. I am excited to learn new skills and get a first-hand glimpse into the creative industries.”
And last but not least ….. Georgia Ross, Recruitment Executive
Georgia has been promoted to Recruitment Executive!!. After successfully completing the Kickstarter scheme as a Social Media and Administration Assistant, we have happily promoted the role of Recruitment Executive. Her responsibilities include working with clients and candidates, taking detailed job briefs, and sourcing great talent, specialising in marketing, PR, communications, digital, creative, and social media. For those that don’t already know, Georgia is also an up-and-coming actor and has just landed a part in Sex Education!
Georgia said: “I cannot wait to assist candidates on their next ventures and guide them on their career paths. Oh, and of, course make it big-time in my acting career!”

Moxie and Mettle is a UK-based recruitment company; our clients are based in the UK too. Although many clients offer remote working as an option, there is still a need to regularly visit company offices and clients in the UK. Therefore, applications from overseas are unlikely to be successful, unless applicants already have plans to be in the UK several times a month/year to facilitate meetings with both the teams and clients.
