Fixed-Fee recruitment option

Fixed-Fee Recruitment

A straightforward, flexible way to recruit

Our fixed-fee recruitment service gives you access to experienced recruitment support, extensive candidate networks and expertly managed advertising, without the traditional percentage-of-salary placement fee.

You pay one agreed fee for the recruitment campaign, with costs confirmed upfront and tailored to the role.

How it works

1. We get to know the role

You send us the job description and person specification, followed by a briefing call with Liz and Rebecca to discuss the vacancy in more detail.

We’ll talk through:

  • The responsibilities of the role

  • The skills and experience required

  • The ideal candidate

  • Salary and benefits

  • Company culture and working environment

  • The recruitment process and timescales

2. We create your Candidate Briefing Profile

We prepare a detailed Candidate Briefing Profile containing the information candidates need to understand the opportunity.

This is shared with you for approval before it is used.

You’ll also confirm whether the vacancy should be advertised:

  • Using your company details and branding

  • On a discreet, confidential basis

  • Through Moxie and Mettle

3. We write and promote your vacancy

You’ll receive a professionally written job advertisement for use on your own website and recruitment channels.

We will also publish the vacancy across relevant Moxie and Mettle platforms, including:

  • The Moxie and Mettle website

  • The Liz Gadd website

  • LinkedIn, including Moxie and Mettle, Liz Gadd and Rebecca Hodgson

  • Relevant Facebook groups, including Moxie and Mettle Freelance and Flexible and Jobs in Marketing and PR

  • The Moxie and Mettle daily job alert bulletin

  • The Moxie and Mettle weekly LinkedIn Newsletter

  • Bristol Creative Industries website and LinkedIn page, where appropriate

  • Reed.co.uk for a six-week period

Where relevant, advertisements will link directly to your website or to the Moxie and Mettle vacancy.

4. We manage the initial candidate response

Applications are directed to hello@moxieandmettle.co.uk and reviewed by recruitment specialists Liz Gadd and Rebecca Hodgson.

Every applicant receives an initial screening interview to establish:

  • Suitability for the role

  • Availability

  • Notice period

  • Salary expectations

  • Right to work

  • Relevant experience and comments

5. We brief and qualify interested candidates

Candidates who appear suitable are fully briefed on the role using the agreed Candidate Briefing Profile.

Once they have confirmed their interest, we ask them to prepare a short cover letter explaining:

  • Why they are interested in the company

  • Why the role appeals to them

  • How their experience matches the brief

This gives you a clearer understanding of their motivation before you meet them.

6. You receive the relevant applications

All suitable applications are sent to you for consideration.

Candidates who do not meet the agreed brief are declined by Moxie and Mettle, saving you time and ensuring that the applications you receive are relevant.

7. You take the recruitment process forward

You then manage the next stages of the process, including interviews, assessments and any associated tasks.

We remain available to support you throughout the campaign, where required.

8. You find your new person

And that’s it. Your next great hire is ready to join your team.
