Are you an experienced client services professional who enjoys building relationships, developing people and delivering exceptional work for clients.

This is a rare opportunity to join an independent, close-knit successful full service design agency as a Client Services Director, with the opportunity to grow into a future leadership role.

Working closely alongside the MD, you will spend the first couple of years building relationships, understanding the business and taking increasing responsibility, before progressing into a wider leadership position of Managing Director.

The agency works with clients across the UK and internationally, helping organisations communicate effectively through creative design, digital solutions, branding and marketing campaigns.

The Role

Initially, the focus of the role will be on client relationships, account development and supporting the continued success of the agency.

As you become established within the business, you will take on broader leadership responsibility, with a strong focus on supporting, mentoring  and developing the team, helping create a positive and high-performing environment.

You will:

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key B2B clients
• Become a trusted adviser and strategic partner
• Understand client challenges and identify opportunities to add value
• Work closely with creative teams to deliver outstanding solutions
• Support and develop existing accounts
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and develop new opportunities
• Help shape client strategy and creative solutions
• Support and develop a talented team
• Contribute to the wider growth and direction of the business

Over time, you will take on broader leadership responsibility, with the opportunity to progress towards a future Managing Director position.

About You

You may currently be working as a:

• Client Services Director
• Account Director
• Senior Account Director
• Client Partner
• Agency Lead

You will have experience managing complex B2B client relationships and enjoy becoming a trusted partner who understands client challenges and delivers solutions.

Just as importantly, you will be someone who is:

• Commercially aware and able to identify growth opportunities

You will be someone who can balance two important areas: protecting and strengthening existing client relationships while also helping the  business grow.

Background

Experience within a design agency, creative agency, insurance, professional services, consultancy or another complex B2B environment would  be advantageous.

Experience working with insurance clients would be particularly valuable, but sector knowledge is not essential if you have the ability to  understand complex organisations, build credibility quickly and develop strong relationships.

The most important qualities are your approach, emotional intelligence, leadership style and ability to build trust.
