Digital Marketing Executive – North Bristol

  • Full Time
  • North Bristol
  • £30k-£36k
  • Digital & Social, Marketing & Events

We’re looking for a hungry, proactive and commercially minded Digital Marketing Executive to join an established and successful independent business in Bristol.

The role is ultimately about driving more visitors, increasing sales and helping the business grow through effective, engaging marketing. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of a broad mix of digital and traditional activity and see the direct impact of your work.

This is a hands-on role covering digital marketing, social media, content, e-commerce, SEO, email marketing, campaigns and analytics.

The Person we’re looking for

You won’t necessarily have experience across every area of digital marketing, and that’s absolutely fine. We’re more interested in your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn than ticking every box.

You’ll be someone who is happy to research, teach yourself new skills and find solutions when you come across something you haven’t done before. You’ll have a solid grounding in marketing and digital, but we’re open to someone whose experience is stronger in some areas than others and who is keen to develop.

We’re looking for someone who is resourceful, self-motivated and confident working autonomously, who takes ownership, gets things done and understands that great marketing should deliver commercial results.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to broaden your skills, contribute ideas and make a visible difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and developing website and e-commerce content
• Creating engaging social media and digital content
• Supporting SEO and paid digital activity
• Planning and delivering email marketing campaigns
• Supporting seasonal campaigns, promotions and events
• Using analytics and reporting to understand performance
• Helping to improve the customer journey and online experience
• Supporting traditional marketing activity including print, advertising and promotional materials
• Working with colleagues and external suppliers to deliver marketing activity

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have experience or knowledge in some of the following:

• Digital marketing and social media
• Content creation
• SEO and website management
• E-commerce
• Email marketing
• Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Google Ads
• Canva

You do not need to have experience in all of these areas. A strong marketing foundation, digital confidence and a willingness to learn are more important.

What’s On Offer

• £33,000–£36,000 per annum, depending on experience
• A varied role with genuine ownership
• The opportunity to broaden and develop your digital marketing skills
• A supportive and collaborative working environment
• Generous holiday allowance
• A range of company benefits

If you’re a self-motivated marketer who is curious, capable and keen to keep learning, we’d love to hear from you.

Although many clients offer remote working as an option, there is still a need to regularly visit company offices and clients in the UK.
