Marketing Administrator – North Bristol

North Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days office-based, 2 remote)

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Marketing Administrator to join a supportive, ambitious, and creative marketing team.

If you’re proactive, reliable, and eager to develop your administration career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll be joining a business that’s growing fast, expanding their digital presence, and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple exciting brands.

It’s important to know that whilst this role is in the marketing department, it’s admin heavy, you will LOVE making sure everything runs efficiently and have superb attention to detail.  It’s not a stepping stone into marketing (at least not for a few years!), it’s suitable for someone who enjoys working in a support capacity to ensure to- notch efficiency and effectiveness.

The role:

This is a varied position where you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the marketing department. No two days will be the same – you’ll be involved in everything from reporting and proofing to scheduling emails and helping to keep projects on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering campaign data and producing daily performance reports.
  • Liaising with accounts and suppliers to manage POs and invoices.
  • Providing administrative and ad hoc support to the marketing team.
  • Proofreading and quality-checking marketing content before it goes live.
  • Scheduling email campaigns using provided creative assets.
  • Updating and maintaining the customer database.
  • Coordinating content for weekly and monthly internal newsletters.
  • Monitoring inboxes for database updates.

 

About you

We’re looking for someone who loves being organised and is naturally proactive, with strong attention to detail. You’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and support a busy marketing team with confidence.

What we’d love you to bring:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in an admin or marketing support role.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets).
  • A proactive and ambitious approach to your work.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
  • Knowledge of CMS tools such as WordPress.
