PR Account Manager – Hampshire – hybrid
Looking for an agency where your ideas are appreciated?
Where you’ll have the freedom to take ownership of client relationships, shape campaigns from concept to coverage, and work with ambitious brands who genuinely value PR?
This could be exactly what you’re looking for.
We’re partnering with an award-winning integrated agency that’s built an enviable reputation for delivering creative, strategic and results-driven campaigns for clients across the UK and beyond. Their client portfolio is growing, their team is thriving and they’re now looking for a talented PR Account Manager to help take things to the next level.
You’ll join a collaborative team of PR, social media, marketing and creative specialists who love what they do, support each other and celebrate success together. It’s a grown-up environment where you’ll be given responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to develop your career without having to wait for someone above you to move on.
What makes this role different?
Quite simply, variety.
One week you might be developing a campaign strategy for an international client, securing media coverage that puts a brand firmly in the spotlight or presenting ideas directly to senior stakeholders.
The next, you’ll be creating compelling content, working on social campaigns, analysing results and helping shape integrated communications programmes that deliver real commercial impact.
The agency works across a broad range of sectors, meaning you’ll never feel pigeonholed. If you love learning about different industries, spotting opportunities and creating stories that capture attention, you’ll feel right at home here.
Who we’re looking for
You’re likely already working in a PR agency environment and ready for a role where you can have more influence, more ownership and more opportunity to make your mark.
You’ll be equally comfortable building relationships with journalists as you are presenting confidently to clients. You know how to juggle multiple deadlines, write copy that gets results and keep projects moving without needing someone looking over your shoulder.
Most importantly, you’ll bring enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine passion for great communications.
You’ll probably have:
- Around three years’ PR experience, ideally agency-side, client-side considered
- Strong social media and content creation skills
- Excellent writing and storytelling ability
- Experience managing client relationships and campaigns
- The confidence to lead meetings and present ideas
- Outstanding organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
And you’ll fit in perfectly if you:
- Love the fast pace of agency life
- Enjoy collaborating with smart, creative people
- Take pride in delivering great work
- Get excited about winning coverage and exceeding client expectations
- Bring positive energy to everything you do
What you’ll get in return
Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll join a genuinely friendly and ambitious agency that invests in its people and gives them room to grow.
You’ll benefit from hybrid working, a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, exciting client work, strong career development prospects and the chance to work alongside a talented team that’s passionate about producing outstanding results.
If you’re a PR Account Manager who wants more ownership, more creativity and more opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.

Moxie and Mettle is a UK-based recruitment company; our clients are based in the UK too. Although many clients offer remote working as an option, there is still a need to regularly visit company offices and clients in the UK. Therefore, applications from overseas are unlikely to be successful, unless applicants already have plans to be in the UK several times a month/year to facilitate meetings with both the teams and clients.
