PR Account Manager – rural and country sectors

We’re recruiting for a highly regarded PR and communications agency with a strong reputation across the UK’s rural and country sector, working with brands and businesses spanning equine, canine, farming, country sports, outdoor and lifestyle.

They’re looking for a PR Account Manager to join their growing team, but would also consider someone at Junior Account Manager level for the right person.

It’s a varied role across PR, digital and social, with plenty of opportunity to get stuck into creative campaigns, build great client relationships and make your mark.

The role

• Managing day-to-day client relationships and accounts
• Planning and delivering PR campaigns
• Creating strong stories, content and media opportunities
• Digital PR, outreach and link building
• Organic and paid social media
• Building relationships with journalists, influencers and creators
• Supporting campaign strategy and new business
• Working collaboratively across the team

About you

You’ll have experience in PR or communications, ideally agency-side, although we’re open to hearing from candidates at both Account Manager and Junior Account Manager level.

A strong communicator and writer, organised, commercially minded and full of ideas. You’ll enjoy working with clients, juggling multiple projects and getting stuck into the detail.

Knowledge of, or a genuine passion for, the countryside, equine, canine, farming, country sports, outdoor pursuits or country lifestyle would be a real plus. You don’t need to have worked in the sector. An authentic interest and understanding is what matters.

Full-time | Permanent only

Gloucestershire | Hybrid 3 days in office – 2 remote | Full-time

£33k – £40k

You’ll also need to be a driver and have access to a car.
