Senior Lead Generation Manager

  • Full Time
  • Bristol - 3 days office based, 2 remote
  • £65k-75k + bonus + benefits
  • Marketing & Events

Moxie and Mettle is supporting a growing Bristol-based B2B service organisation in the search for a senior marketing manager to take responsibility for digital lead generation, product positioning brand building.

Though the role does include ownership of product positioning and brand, the clear focus is on generating high-quality MQLs and SQLs through content production and distribution using all available digital channels (email, social, other) and the latest technology.  You must have significant expertise and a natural inclination to use automation tools, AI, A/B testing, lead-capture forms, as well as HubSpot, GA4, GSC, Hotjar and other tools to optimise online conversion funnels. You must also be comfortable managing the company’s comprehensive and well-maintained market database on HubSpot and in Excel.

Working alongside an accomplished leadership and commercial team with a track record of generating leads through networking and industry events and converting them to sales, you will be tasked with adding to the organisation a repeatable digital lead generation engine to secure meetings and thus accelerate the company’s growth and market share.  With your natural problem-solving attitude and style of work, you’ll be drawn to the opportunity to work directly with the CEO and leadership team to make ICPs aware of the company’s superior B2B tech-enabled service and convince them to switch from their current providers.

We’re looking for a marketing pro who can understand the company’s regulated end markets and the problems its solutions address, who can orchestrate great content (with the help of in-house subject matter experts) and who lives and breathes online conversion funnels.  You are comfortable ultimately being held accountable for the number of relevant decisionmakers to which the commercial team will have the opportunity to present.

Skills & Experience

  • A demonstrated track record of having built at least one repeatable online lead generation engine for a B2B service of SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability using AI tools, marketing automation, integrations, landing page A/B testing, campaign tracking, lead-capture form optimisation, SEO and analytics
  • Strong editorial and copywriting skills as well as brand sensibility
  • Strategically literate but by nature hands-on and execution-focused
  • Understanding of the challenges of competitive B2B contract-based service markets
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage external contractors efficiently
  • Nice-to-have:  Experience working in or selling to a regulated market

If you’re a highly technical B2B marketing professional who wants to be part of an ambitious Bristol-based tech-enabled organisation, we’d love to hear from you.

Moxie and Mettle is a UK-based recruitment company; our clients are based in the UK too. Although many clients offer remote working as an option, there is still a need to regularly visit company offices and clients in the UK. Therefore, applications from overseas are unlikely to be successful, unless applicants already have plans to be in the UK several times a month/year to facilitate meetings with both the teams and clients.
