Exciting opportunity for a PR Account Director to join an exciting, rapidly growing agency in Bath.

About you

• If you have PR or Marketing experience in technology markets, then you will love this role! As part of an ongoing growth strategy, the business is looking to recruit an additional Account Director to lead on global, bluechip tech clients.

• You will have an exceptional eye for detail, as well as creative, organisational and written and verbal communication skills.

• Media relations, event planning and social media are all essential.

• A degree in engineering, PR, Comms, Media or similar would be very useful, along with a strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists and members of the press.

• The ability to explain PR terms and outcomes to client, colleagues and stakeholders is also crucial.

• Oh, and foreign languages would be useful too but is by no means essential.

A brilliant job for a Media Executive you will be responsible for ensuring that all advertising campaigns are delivered on time.

About you

• It would be great if you had a degree or qualification in Marketing, Advertising, PR or Media though this isn’t essential. You will have superb administration and organisational skills and ideally have worked with marketing, advertising or creative (similar) teams.

• Knowledge of Excel and previous budget experience is also required.

About the role

•  Based in the marketing team and reporting directly to the advertising manager, this is a key role with the advertising team.

• You will ensure deadlines are met, processes are followed and advertising is delivered on an ongoing basis.

• The role will work closely with the commercial, supply chain and marketing teams to ensure that campaigns are integrated with other channels and support the right products and mix to ensure ongoing trading and brand metrics are achieved.

• The main focus is to ensure alignment of the creative and media to drive the performance of the business and drive footfall.

•  This role is commercially important and the role needs to ensure that advertising is of the highest standard, changes are made as required and in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracy.

Key Duties:

•  Support Advertising Manager in the delivery of TV advertising strategy – reporting, scheduling and instructing agencies to deliver campaigns on time.

• Liaise directly with partner media and creative agencies, plus in-house Design Studio to ensure most impactful, relevant and cost-effective media and creative is delivered on all occasions.

•Delivery of Radio and Press campaigns across creative and media to support schedules.

• Organise and co-ordinate ongoing activities to ensure on-time delivery of the plan.

• Ownership of the Local Advertising activity, including the planning, recommendation and implementation of local radio, press, outdoor and doordrop campaigns to support new store openings/store refits/under-performing stores and any other ad hoc local store activity.

• Ensure that all local advertising activity complements the national advertising campaigns at all times

• Support brand expansion into new territories, including but not limited to US, Ireland and Germany as required.

• Liaise directly with partner media and creative agencies, plus in-house Design Studio to ensure most impactful, relevant and cost effective media and creative is delivered on all occasions.

• Build strong working relationships with the above personnel, plus key internal stakeholders within the business.

About you

Would be beneficial if you had the following:

• Stakeholder relations and consultation: working knowledge of stakeholder mapping, stakeholder engagement and consultation principles and techniques; able to engage with stakeholders direct

About the role

This a varied and diverse opportunity, you will be involved in:

• Managing and delivering multiple events and engagements to a wide variety of stakeholders including major businesses, tourist and leisure organisations, transport groups and members of the public. This can include presenting to more than 100 people per event.

• Working collaboratively with regional bodies to identify opportunities for joint communications campaigns and ensure messaging is consistent.

• Develop and distribute a wide range of digital and print collateral for a wide variety of audiences and priorities, maintaining the tone of voice and template quality.

• Investigate and resolve public and stakeholder enquires/complaints, working to collate and translate complex technical information to accurately respond within set timeframes.

About the role

• This role will support across internal and external corporate communications; working across the full remit of communications, specifically concentrating on the delivery of media, public affairs, internal, stakeholder and customer-focused communications.

• With experience in a range of communication disciplines, you will work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, manage retained agencies, relevant third parties and external stakeholders in the delivery of considered, planned and effective communications.

• Work with the Senior Brand Partner and brand partners to create well designed, engaging creative collateral and multi-media content.

• Manage multiple, complex projects at any one time, providing communications consultancy to colleagues.
